Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and analyze the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset accounting.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- 1-3 years of general accounting experience.
- Understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
