Our client, one of the most reputable Real Estate Development companies in NYC, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their Family Office team, reporting directly to the Tax Director. This role focuses on tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and their related real estate holdings. The Senior Tax Accountant will manage quarterly estimates and annual tax compliance, prepare and review tax filings including Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120, and assist in developing and implementing strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency across the firm's portfolio. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with strong knowledge of high-net-worth individual, trust, and estate taxation, and preferably experience with real estate and alternative investments. A CPA designation or progress toward CPA is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and will collaborate closely with accounting, legal, and investment teams on tax-related matters.
