We're looking for an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style sliding headstock lathes to produce precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and run Swiss CNC machines to produce close-tolerance parts.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Verify product quality using precision inspection tools and SPC methods.
- Optimize machining processes and troubleshoot independently when needed.
- Work collaboratively with programming and engineering to improve setups and reduce cycle times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating and setting up Swiss CNC machines (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, etc.).
- Strong understanding of CNC controls (FANUC, Mitsubishi, or similar).
- Ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and inspection documentation.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
