Job Title: Customer Service and Marketing Associate
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Location: Chaska, MN (Full Time Onsite)

Contract for 6 month

Position Overview

Beacon Hill is seeking a highly organized and action-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Marketing Associate for their client in Chaska, MN. This dual-role position supports both the Customer Service Manager and the Marketing team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities with ease. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth customer service operations and supporting marketing initiatives, including our upcoming rebrand.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Support

  • Serve as primary backup to the Customer Service Manager during absences or peak periods.
  • Enter and manage orders in the ERP system to ensure timely processing and shipment.
  • Assist with invoicing, including sending invoices and processing credit/debit memos.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and documentation requests; communicate customer needs to sales and management.
  • Coordinate freight delivery processes using the company's freight management system.
  • Collaborate with operations and internal departments to resolve order delays and shipment issues.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and tactics.
  • Support initiatives to improve business efficiency and profitability.
  • Coordinate with HR on corporate marketing and employee communications.
  • Promote new products and educate customers through public relations efforts.
  • Contribute to social media management and general marketing activities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in food-related industries.
  • Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Sales and marketing acumen with presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with strong planning and execution abilities.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.
  • Creative and conceptual thinker.
