Junior Staff Accountant (Temp‑to‑Hire)
Location: On‑site
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000
Employment Type: Temp‑to‑Hire
Overview
We are hiring a Junior Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations in an on‑site environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professional looking to gain hands‑on accounting experience with the potential to convert to a permanent role. No prior accounting experience is required-training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry and transaction processing
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Help prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close activities and supporting documentation
- Review invoices, expense reports, and supporting records for accuracy
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with ad‑hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to support accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or coursework toward completion)
- No prior accounting experience required
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work on‑site and collaborate in a team environment
- Positive attitude and eagerness to grow in an accounting career
