Our client, a nonprofit organization with a mission of enhacing the quality of Jewish life in Austin, is seeking a Donor Services Assistant to join their team on a 3 month contract with opportunity to extend. This person will be a support role and is responsible for timely and accurate gift processing, reporting on donation status, maintaining donor information, and facilitating accounting transactions, while providing outstanding customer service to prospects, donors, staff and financial partners. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge specifically. This person will be onsite Monday - Friday 8-5 in a beautiful office space located in Northwest Austin, with access to state of the art amenities such as a fully equipped weight room, cardio gym, pool, tennis court and café.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle all situations in a calm manner
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential, sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with data entry and complex databases
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive working independently and on a team
- Ability to provide donors, constituents and colleagues a consistently excellent customer service experience
- Ability to communicate with donors of all giving levels
- Knowledge of accounting and financial data - balance sheets, income/expense statements and budgets
- Demonstrated success using Microsoft Office suite
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional office setting
