Senior Accountant - Distribution Company

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing distribution organization. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on inventory and cost accounting.

What You'll Do

• Handle month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Manage inventory accounting including reconciliations, cycle counts, and COGS

• Analyze inventory and operational variances

• Reconcile inventory sub-ledgers to the general ledger

• Support physical inventory counts and audit requests

• Maintain internal controls and accounting processes

• Partner with operations and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial data

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse environments

• Strong inventory and cost accounting experience

• ERP system experience

• Advanced Excel skills
