This is a six-month temporary opportunity with a higher education-related organization, supporting the Enrollment & Student Affairs department in a data-focused administrative capacity. The role offers competitive hourly pay, full-time hours (35-40 per week), and is running from January 12 through July 3.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry with a strong emphasis on speed and accuracy (10,000+ keystrokes per hour)
- Manage electronic files, including printing, copying, transferring, and deleting documents
- Access and maintain computerized databases and records
- Enter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence
- Format and produce documents using standard office software
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and identify/correct data errors
- Operate basic office equipment and follow detailed instructions
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience with high-volume data entry and administrative support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect and correct errors
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and related software
- Comfort working with numbers and performing basic calculations
- Ability to manage electronic files and use standard office equipment
