Beacon Hill Associates is seeking Remote Mock Trial Participants from Pinellas County for a short-term project assignment. This opportunity involves participating in a confidential, real-life case simulation and sharing feedback during a virtual mock trial session. This is a fully remote role, and candidates must participate from their own home address, which will serve as the official worksite location.

Assignment Details:

* Start Date: Thursday, January 22
* Hours: 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM
* Work Environment: 100% Remote (Zoom)
* Number of Contractors: 12 selected (client requests 20-25 profiles for review)

Compensation:

* Pay Rate: $25/hour
* Bill Rate: $45/hour

Overall Role:

Participants will listen to and engage in a confidential mock trial scenario, providing verbal input and perspective when prompted. This role is designed to simulate real-world jury dynamics and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

* Actively listen during a virtual mock trial session
* Participate verbally and share opinions when asked
* Remain on camera via Zoom for the duration of the session
* Maintain confidentiality throughout the process

Candidate Requirements (Must Haves):

* U.S. Resident
* 18 years of age or older
* Resident of Pinellas County, FL (strongly preferred); Pasco or Hillsborough County considered if needed
* Must have a computer, laptop, or iPad with Zoom capability
* Ability to be on camera for the full session
* No felony convictions
* No prior work in insurance
* No prior personal injury lawsuits
* Not an attorney or paralegal

Selection Preferences:

* Balanced group of 6 women and 6 men
* Wide range of ages (students through retirees encouraged)
* Diverse educational and professional backgrounds

Screening & Timeline:

* Friday, January 16: Beacon Hill provides 20-25 candidate profiles
* Friday, January 16: Client screens candidates based on availability
* Monday, January 19: Final 12 participants selected and contacted
* Tuesday-Wednesday, January 20-21: Brief 5-minute Zoom screening calls
* Thursday, January 22: Mock trial participation day
