Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Manager to oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and preparation of supporting documentation and financial summaries. This role provides broad visibility into the full accounting cycle and offers opportunities to improve workflows and processes.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and customer billing.

  • Reconcile accounts regularly, including general ledger accounts, vendor statements, and customer balances to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain and build vendor relationships by verifying invoices and resolving billing discrepancies efficiently.

  • Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring all financial data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.

  • Ensure accuracy and organization of financial records for compliance readiness.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to gather supporting information and resolve transactional discrepancies.

  • Monitor compliance with state and local regulations, including W-9s, sales/use tax, and vendor documentation.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency with accounting software; ERP systems preferred.

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.

  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

  • Understanding of state and local compliance requirements (W-9s, sales/use tax, vendor documentation).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Work in a stable, growing company where your contributions directly impact financial clarity and decision-making.

  • Broad visibility into the full accounting cycle, not just one function.

  • Opportunity to own your work and recommend meaningful process improvements.

  • Collaborative environment that values accuracy, accountability, and teamwork.

  • Flexibility to support work-life balance.

  • Supportive workplace that encourages problem-solving and continuous learning.
