A stable, mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced AR Billing Manager with hands-on DMH billing expertise. This role leads day-to-day billing operations, manages a small team, and owns the AR close and reporting process.

What You'll Do

• Oversee DMH and medical billing from submission through payment

• Manage and support a small billing team

• Own monthly AR close, reconciliations, and revenue reporting

• Monitor eligibility, denials, and outstanding AR; resolve issues to maximize cash flow

• Oversee billing files and transactions (e.g., 837, 277, 835)

• Improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an AR Billing Manager (not just AR or billing)

• DMH or Medi-Cal billing experience required

• Experience with DMH billing systems (Welligent strongly preferred)

• Strong knowledge of AR, revenue recognition, and reconciliations

• Prior team leadership experience

• Strong Excel and reporting skills
