A manufacturing company in Batavia is seeking a temporary Production Scheduler to report to the Supply Chain Manager. This role will support daily manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and controlling production schedules to ensure efficient material flow, optimized capacity utilization, and on-time delivery of manufactured products. This role works closely with shop floor personnel, supervisors, engineering, and supply chain to maintain production schedules and meet customer and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize ERP and production systems to establish and maintain delivery dates for components and finished goods.
• Coordinate and assign delivery dates for outsourced manufacturing and vendor processing purchase orders.
• Monitor shop floor progress and expedite components and finished assemblies to support manufacturing priorities.
• Participate in manufacturing meetings to communicate schedules, capacity constraints, and production priorities to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Maintain accurate dispatch and priority reports by researching production issues and communicating schedule changes to production planning.
• Comprehend and communicate manufacturing and scheduling methods within manufacturing meetings to schedule and maintain schedules to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and coordination skills in a production environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain role
