Our client, a nonprofit community-owned health system, is looking for a strategic HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership. The role focuses on driving organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and culture through comprehensive human resources expertise. The individual will partner closely with leaders and HR colleagues to deliver impactful solutions across employee relations, talent planning, performance management, engagement, retention, and change initiatives. This role typically reports to the AVP of Human Resources. This is going to be a full time, 40 hour work week that is fully onsite. The schedule is 8-5 with some flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted collaborator and advisor to senior leaders and management
- Partner with business leaders on change management, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiatives
- Provide strategic HR guidance across employee relations, compensation, talent planning, and succession planning
- Support leadership development, performance management, and engagement strategies
- Drive retention initiatives and workforce planning aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with HR partners and business stakeholders to implement people strategies
- Lead and support change initiatives within complex organizational environments
- Build team effectiveness and address conflict resolution and group dynamics challenges
- Apply strong diagnostic and analytical skills to assess organizational needs and recommend solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in HR leadership, HR business partnership, or client management roles
- 5+ years of people management experience required
- Demonstrated experience in strategic talent planning, engagement, and retention
- Strong leadership, influence, and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all organizational levels
- Advanced diagnostic, conceptual, and strategic thinking abilities
- Proven capability to implement and execute HR initiatives
- Strong business acumen, systems thinking, and project management skills
- Expertise in change management, organizational development, and team effectiveness
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
