Our client is seeking a temporary Facilities Coordinator to support day-to-day facilities operations and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-managed environment at their North Austin location. This role will coordinate a small team of multi-skilled operatives, manage vendor relationships, and support key financial and operational processes across the site.
This is a 4-month contract, fully onsite, Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:30 AM-5:00 PM), with rare overtime opportunities as needed. Compensation is between 20-21hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for, monitor the performance of, and coordinate a small team of multi-skilled operatives
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and facilities vendors
- Assist in managing on-site contractors to ensure services are delivered to required standards
- Support the procurement of vendors and services as needed
- Assist with financial processes, including purchase order management, monthly accrual reports, and finance trackers
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders within the internal financial management system
- Conduct site inspections, assessments, audits, and safety procedures in line with building and compliance requirements
- Support implementation of the property risk management program and industry best practices
- Maintain premises in a neat, safe, and fully operational condition at all times
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures
- Support regular management reporting and ad hoc projects as required
- Help achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, data entry and working with data
- Self-motivated with a confident, energetic, and proactive approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform inspections on a 3 floor building
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Clean driving record required
