Role Overview
Our client is seeking a high‑energy, detail‑oriented University Recruiter to support a senior executive business unit during a 6‑month contract engagement. This role goes beyond traditional requisition filling-you will act as a strategic talent partner while owning the end‑to‑end recruiting process for internship and high‑priority early‑career roles.
In addition to hiring, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional summer intern experience through hands‑on engagement, programming, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership:
Serve as the dedicated recruiting partner for a senior leadership organization, advising on market trends, talent pipelines, and hiring best practices.Full‑Cycle Recruitment:
Own the end‑to‑end hiring process for university internship roles and urgent, high‑priority early‑career openings.Summer Intern Programming:
Collaborate with the broader university recruiting team to plan and deliver engaging intern programming, including events, speaker sessions, and networking opportunities.Relationship Management:
Act as a primary point of contact and mentor for the intern cohort, maintaining frequent touchpoints to drive engagement and retention.Intern Conversion Strategy:
Support the intern‑to‑full‑time conversion process, including performance evaluations and offer calibration for the supported business unit.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in university or early‑career recruiting, preferably within fast‑paced tech or corporate environments.Stakeholder Management:
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leaders (VP/SVP level).Program Management:
Experience organizing intern events or early‑career development programming.Agility:
Ability to shift quickly between high‑volume screening and high‑touch candidate management.Recruiting Systems:
Proficiency with modern applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse or similar).
