A well-established Connecticut law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join their growing team in Norwalk, CT. This is a great opportunity for a junior associate to work on a variety of deals and gain one-on-one mentorship.

The Practice

The firm represents closely held and middle‑market businesses across a wide range of industries, including service businesses, restaurants, medical practices, technology companies, HVAC, plumbing, pest control, and other trade-based companies. The practice is particularly active in:

  • Purchase and sale of businesses
  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Shareholder and partnership matters
  • Business formation and governance
  • Labor & employment advising
  • Private equity-adjacent transactions involving legacy businesses + more

Associates are exposed to real responsibility early, including fast-paced transactional work, client interaction, and high-value closings.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of corporate transactions experience required
  • Connecticut bar admission strongly preferred
    • Candidates without CT admission/experience will be considered if eligible and willing to obtain it promptly

Work Environment

  • Fully in-office role (Norwalk, CT)
  • Collaborative, traditional law firm environment with a strong emphasis on mentorship and long-term growth
  • No formal billable hour requirement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $105,000 - $135,000 + discretionary year-end bonus
  • Medical, dental, & vision are offered
