Position Summary:
Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support its growing real estate practice group. This role provides critical administrative and substantive support to attorneys working on real estate transactions and related legal matters. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and due diligence
Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, closing documents, title reports, and correspondence
Organize and maintain real estate files and client matter records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Coordinate calendaring of key deadlines, closings, property inspections, and meetings with clients, lenders, and other parties
Conduct title and public records research, including recording requirements and status checks
Assist with closing logistics, including document assembly, distribution, and tracking, and communications with title companies, lenders, and clients
Draft routine correspondence and assist with client communications under attorney supervision
Support attorneys in preparing materials for internal and external meetings, regulatory filings, and compliance tasks
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and matter information
Perform other related duties as needed to support the real estate practice group
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience; real estate experience preferred
Strong knowledge of real estate documentation and transaction processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal case or matter management systems
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented environment
Professional demeanor and commitment to superior client service

Hybrid work schedule (combination of in-office and remote)
