Benefits Operations Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Benefits Operations Analyst to support the administration, auditing, and optimization of employee benefit programs. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across benefits operations for a large employee population. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce, strong benefits audit experience, and has supported organizations with 500+ employees.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
Manage benefits setup, changes, and ongoing maintenance within Ceridian Dayforce
Perform regular benefits audits to validate enrollments, deductions, eligibility, and carrier files
Reconcile benefits billing and resolve discrepancies with carriers and internal teams
Support open enrollment planning, testing, execution, and post-enrollment audits
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations
Partner closely with payroll, HR, and finance to ensure data accuracy across systems
Analyze benefits data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement
Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and process controls
Utilize Microsoft Outlook and related tools to manage communications and follow-ups
Qualifications
3+ years of benefits administration or benefits operations experience
Hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce required
Proven experience conducting benefits audits and reconciliations
Experience supporting benefits for organizations with 500+ employees strongly preferred
Strong understanding of benefits compliance and operational best practices
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
