We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Forecasting & Data Analyst to support our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis and reporting, with a particular focus on forecasting. This role is critical in driving data-informed decisions, ensuring accurate demand planning, and enhancing collaboration across functional areas. Candidate must be local to Indianapolis!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis to support supply chain functions including demand planning, inventory management, and procurement.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models using tools such as Oracle Demantra or Kinaxis.
- Lead and facilitate forecast collaboration meetings with cross-functional teams to align on demand plans.
- Extract, transform, and visualize data using PowerBI, ensuring stakeholders have access to meaningful insights.
- Leverage Excel for advanced data manipulation including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros.
- Communicate complex analysis results clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and finance to support business goals.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years' experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within a supply chain environment
- Strong background in forecasting methodologies and tools
- Hands-on experience with forecasting platforms such as Oracle Demantra or Kinaxis.
- Ability to facilitate forecast collaboration meetings
- Have strong communication skills to clearly articulate analysis results and to collaborate with other functional areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros.
- Familiar with reporting tools such as PowerBI to be able to pull data
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a global or multi-site supply chain operation.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
