Beacon Hill is currently staffing multiple accounting consultant roles across the South Jersey area. These opportunities range from 3-6 month contract assignments to contract-to-hire positions, offering competitive compensation of up to $40 per hour, depending on experience. Our clients span both private and public organizations across industries including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, professional services, utilities, oil and gas, energy, construction, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Process expense reports, credit card activity, and employee reimbursements

• Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations

• Maintain accurate AP aging and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues

• Provide general accounting support as needed (GL support, documentation, AR exposure a plus)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable or AP-focused accounting roles

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks)

• Proficient in Excel; strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to work 3-4 days per week
