Beacon Hill is staffing for several Accounting Consultant opportunities in the Philadelphia, PA area. These roles are onsite or hybrid and offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in a Staff or Senior Accounting role, or an accounting operations role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERPs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
