Accounting Assistant - Large Pharmaceutical Company
We are working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry to find an Accounting Assistant. This is a chance to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment where you'll learn the ins and outs of accounting while supporting critical operations that impact millions of lives worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for basic accounting tasks, including data entry and filing
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes (invoice matching, payment tracking)
- Help with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end close by preparing simple journal entries and reports
- Perform administrative duties, such as organizing documents, scanning, and maintaining vendor files
- Respond to internal inquiries and assist with resolving discrepancies
- Assist the team during audits by gathering and organizing documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Associate's degree
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle administrative tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
