About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate job costing.
Assist with audits and compliance requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years of accounting experience preferred; internship experience considered.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
