Senior Accountant (Temporary - 2-3 Months)

Location: Onsite - Long Beach, CA
Duration: 2-3 month temporary assignment
Start: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a Long Beach-based organization on an onsite, temporary basis for the next 2-3 months. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities, and support month-end close with minimal ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Maintain and review general ledger accounts

• Prepare and reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts

• Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting

• Support AP and AR functions as needed

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Work directly in QuickBooks for daily accounting and reporting

• Collaborate onsite with internal teams to support accounting operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Senior Accountant role

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (required)

• Solid understanding of general ledger and month-end close

• Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently

• Available to work onsite in Long Beach for the duration of the assignment

• Able to commit to a 2-3 month onsite engagement
