Boutique Atlanta insurance defense law firm located in the Druid Hills area is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant who has at least one year of law firm experience. This is a permanent, direct hire position in a wonderfully friendly firm!
Litigation Legal Assistant will provide a variety of legal administrative support duties that include:
- Typing from dictation; drafting, proofing, editing and formatting legal correspondence and legal documents
- Maintaining attorney calendar
- E-filing with State and Federal courts
- Communicating with attorneys, court officials and clients
- Entering attorney time and assisting with monthly bill preparation
- Creating monthly expense reimbursements
- Maintaining files
- Entering attorney time and assisting with billing
- General administrative support including assisting with phones, scanning, printing, emailing, mailing
- Helping with special projects as needed
Litigation Legal Assistant must have strong technical skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and excellent communication and organizational skills.
