Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a growing organization in the [industry] sector to find a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Please note we will only consider candidates with a relevant degree or at least 6 months of accounting experience (shorter internships will work, too!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Reconcile bank accounts and support month-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support payroll processing under the direction of senior accounting staff.
• Help gather documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 6 months - 2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles welcome).
• Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to learn.
