Are you an Senior Accountant seeking their next opportunity? Our client, a well-known organization in the Portland area, is seeking a Senior Accountant on a temporary basis. You will work directly with the Controller to ensure that all general ledger related accounting responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash positioning and reporting to ensure sufficient liquidity across operational accounts and timely execution of funding activities.
- Monitor cash balances and movements across multiple bank accounts and legal entities, identifying trends and ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
- Assist in preparing both short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.
- Partner with banking institutions to maintain strong relationships, resolve transactional issues, and identify opportunities to enhance cash management efficiency.
- Evaluate and improve cash management tools, processes, and internal controls, including banking platforms and payment solutions.
- Prepare, analyze, and present treasury reports and key metrics for finance leadership, providing insights into liquidity, cash flow performance, and overall treasury operations.
