Job Title: Project Accountant
Job Description:
An excellent client of ours is seeking a Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of their projects. The Project Accountant will be responsible for tracking project costs, preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. This role involves close collaboration with project managers and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and report on project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
Prepare financial reports, including variance analyses and cost summaries.
Ensure proper allocation of costs and adherence to contractual and accounting standards.
Collaborate with project managers to support financial planning and performance tracking.
Reconcile project-related transactions and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Assist in audits and provide documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in project accounting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and project cost control.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
