Are you an Senior Accountant seeking their next opportunity? Our client, a well-known organization in the Hillsboro area, is seeking a Senior Accountant on a temporary basis. You will work directly with the Controller to ensure that all general ledger related accounting responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including complex and intercompany accounts; collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with month-end reviews and trend analysis to identify variances and opportunities
- Research and analyze complex financial results and accounting issues
- Participate in budget-to-actual expense reviews and provide supporting analysis
- Manage fixed asset accounting and track capital expenditure projects in progress
- Contribute to departmental and operational process improvement initiatives
- Provide documentation and support to external auditors during annual audits
- Stay current on GAAP and best practices in accounting procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism under pressure, maintain strong attendance and punctuality, and work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
