Overview

We are seeking a Controller or Accounting Manager level candidate to support a mid-sized company during a maternity leave coverage. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a strong possibility of extension or permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the audit process.
• Consolidate financials for multiple holding companies.
• Prepare quarterly management reports for the board.
• Handle traditional accounting functions, including general ledger management and staff accounting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, including bank reconciliations and month-end close activities.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial management skills; industry experience in construction is not required
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent communication skills; dynamic and personable
  

Work Arrangement

Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days remote, with potential for increased flexibility over time.
