Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Paralegal - Hybrid
Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a Commerical Real Estate Paralegal for a major law firm's Midtown Manhattan office. This is a hybrid role and has a salary ranging from $100,000-$135,000.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of Commercial Real Estate Paralegal experience in a law firm and must have experience in title and survey review.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the procurement of title insurance and resolution of any title issues.
- Compile and organize necessary documents such as title reports, surveys, and official records.
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of mortgage paperwork, overseeing escrow closings with title companies.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of closing documentation and checklists, including deeds and tax returns.
- Coordinate signature pages for closing procedures.
- Assist with closings and handle post-closing tasks.
- Establish limited liability companies by drafting formation documents, conducting searches, and managing filing procedures.
- Assist in multi-state commercial transactions, including survey reviews, title insurance assessments, and document preparation.
- Scrutinize title exception documents, insurance commitments, and property descriptions, negotiating as needed.
- Conduct real estate due diligence, including lease reviews and flood hazard assessments.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years Commercial Real Estate experience in a law firm
- BA required
