Summary:
Our client, a growing PE-backed company in Mount Laurel, NJ, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a growth role with a clear path to Senior Accountant. Interested candidates should have a degree in accounting or finance, and 1-3 years of operational accounting experience. This role will be filled on a contract-to-hire basis, with a salary range of $50k- $65k, depending on experience.
Position Summary:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries and support audit documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data
Technical Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR, reconciliations, GL)
- Proficient within an ERP system
- Proficiency within Excel, Pivot tables preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
