Surgery Scheduler
Very busy medical office in Matthews is seeking a polished, professional individual that always maintains a high level of customer service to each and every patient. Hours 8:30a-5:30p, M-F. Temp to perm. $18-19/hour.
Responsibilities:
Surgery Scheduling
- Input cases into centers scheduling system
- Verify Benefits - works with patients and insurance companies with billing explanations
- Communicates with patients, physician offices, insurance companies, staff, surgeons and external contractors
- Works directly with patients over the phone and in person
Relief Receptionist
- Meets, greets and checks in patients, staff, physicians and visitors
- Chart preparation
- Answering phones
Requirements:
- 3+ years of prior Medical Procedure scheduling required - experience scheduling surgeries in at a hospital, scheduling MRI's, CAT Scans etc.
- High School Diploma
- Detail oriented
- Knowledgeable of health insurance
- Good communication and people skills is a must
