Our client, a non-profit organization, is actively seeking a contract to hire Leave Administrator to join their team! We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional who can confidently manage leave administration processes and jump right in.

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role
  • 3+ years of experience in leave administration, benefits or human resources
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation laws
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, proficency in ADP preferred
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

The Job:

  • Oversee and process employee leave programs, including FMLA, non-FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term/long-term disability, parental leave, and more
  • Manage ADA accommodations, ensuring a smooth interactive process with employees and managers
  • Maintain timely communication with employees on leave to facilitate a smooth return-to-work process
  • Work cross-functionally with Payroll and Fiscal departments to coordinate leave and absence processes
  • Support benefits administration as needed, including medical/dental enrollments and qualifying life events
  • Manage Workers' Compensation cases and OSHA logs
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS and ensure compliance with applicable laws
  • Conduct periodic audits to verify enrollments, changes, and terminations

This contract to hire opportunity will work on a hybrid schedule following training of three days in the Philadelphia office and two days from home.
