The Account Development Manager (ADM), Research Business will be responsible for taking a long-term, consultative approach to managing existing accounts and prospective partners. The ADM will also analyze market trends, develop strategic sales plans, and align client / prospect objectives with business solutions. The ADM will be responsible for maintaining, developing and enhancing strong working relationships with our client base as well as any other responsibility required to achieve organizational goals. The ADM, Research, will develop strategy according to market dynamics to expand utilization of FeNO within CROs, Study Sponsors, Academic Research Institutions and Government Research Institutions to secure new partnerships in Global Clinical Research.

Specific/ Other Responsibilities will include:

  • Implement account management strategy to maintain, protect, expand and enhance sales for company with key account(s). Meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Establish strong working relationships with customer accounts (i.e. management, procurement, and forecasting) and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (i.e. Account Service Representative(s), Supply Chain, Technical Operations, Product Development, and Medical Affairs) to provide first-in-class customer experience and flawless execution of order processes, logistics, and tracking.
  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to overcome challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Conduct critical analyses of all data sources to determine return on investment, trends, opportunities and threats. Monitor customer experience, account sales, and contract performance of assigned account(s) on a regular basis.
  • Develop strong business relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision-making personnel in customer segments
  • Execute strategy according to market dynamics to expand utilization of FeNO within CROs, Study Sponsors, Academic Research Institutions and Government Research Institutions.
  • Attend investigators meetings, relevant conferences, and customer sites to provide education on FeNO testing, capabilities presentations, device demonstrations, and customer support.
  • Work with accounts' product development teams to ensure company is integrated in data report systems
  • Prepare quotes/proposals, develop training materials, and deliver as requested by customers

Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role:

  • Experience:Five (5) or more years of experience responsibility in medical account management/development (B2B) industry (i.e. - device, supplies, services, etc.).

  • Highly preferred areas of experience:previous background in clinical research organizations and cross-functional work within an organization. Background and direct experience clinical research organizations, pharmaceutical and/or medical device companies, relationship building with C-suite level leadership in targeted key accounts. Experience in meeting and collaborating with individuals conducting research

  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills. Must be a strategic thinker, dependent and a strong communicator. Must be motivated and able to work with stakeholders to accomplish goals. Ability to accurately forecast pipeline opportunities Computer skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong public speaking skills and presentation skills. Ability to travel overnight up to 25% of the time with some weekend travel. Ability to keep up with current business practices within the industry. Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and manage forecasts / budgets by use of data extraction.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required, with a strong preference for science disciplines (i.e. RT, RN, NP, PA, PharmD, or MD)
