HRiA - Part-Time Office Administrator
A mission-driven nonprofit organization in the health and research space is seeking a reliable Office Manager / Administrative Support professional to support daily office operations, facilities, events, and executive administration. This is a part-time, onsite role based in downtown Boston, working Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, paying $24-$25/hour, with an expected duration of 6 months or longer and a February 3 start date. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as front desk receptionist, greeting visitors and managing the main phone line and shared inboxes
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, invoices, and coordination with Finance
- Oversee office operations, supplies, vendor relationships, and facilities needs
- Support onboarding/offboarding, seating logistics, and emergency preparedness processes
- Maintain organization-wide calendars and coordinate meetings, events, and staff gatherings
- Provide executive administrative support including calendars, expenses, invoices, meeting materials, and travel coordination
- Prepare documents, presentations, and reports; maintain digital and physical records
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism while supporting leadership and staff
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in office management, administrative support, or facilities coordination
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Professional communication skills and comfort supporting executives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general office systems
- Experience working onsite in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
