Our client, a professional organization, has an immediate need for a temporary Copy Editor. This person will support their team in Alexandria, VA for 2-3 months with a potential to extend the assignment. If you have 3+ years of copy-editing experience and can start immediately, apply today!
About the Job:
- Performing quality control and ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.
- Collaborate to refine content.
- Identify inconsistencies and then correct errors.
- Track requests, deadlines, and cycles using the CMS system.
- Ensure consistent branding and adherence to brand standards.
- Perform other copy editing tasks and assist with relevant projects as required.
About You:
- 3+ years of copy-editing experience are required.
- Experience with Monday.com and CMS systems.
- Strong confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Able to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
About the Position:
- Pays $30/hr-$35/hr
- Temporary for 2-3 months.
- Hybrid 3 days/week onsite.
- Metro accessible in Alexandria, VA
