Our client, a reputable healthcare organization located in Boston, is seeking a Gift Processing Coordinator to join their team for 4+ months. This hybrid role will support the Development Operations team and contribute to the organization's fundraising and donor engagement efforts. It is compensating $26 an hour. Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and audit a variety of donations including checks, credit cards, stock, and wire transfer gifts
  • Generate donor receipts and acknowledgment letters in a timely manner
  • Maintain database accuracy, including entering and auditing gift and biographical data
  • Run data queries and develop reports using Excel and Crystal Reports
  • Prepare mailing lists and donor lists for various campaigns
  • Support special events with operational tasks such as registration, gift entry, and volunteer oversight
  • Assist in prospect research and manage electronic data
  • Train staff in the use of Raiser's Edge and create import profiles
  • Analyze fundraising data and suggest improvements to processes and systems
  • Create and maintain a gift processing policies and procedures handbook

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-4 years of experience in a development office; gift processing experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in data management systems, particularly Raiser's Edge, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with various teams and internal stakeholders
