Our client, an extremely distinguished and well-known nonprofit involved in the Arts is seeking a poised, highly professional Executive Assistant to support their CEO during a time of transition. This opportunity offers the chance to work behind the scenes at one of the most respected institutions in the cultural and performing arts space. The goal is to bring in a temporary Executive Assistant who can onboard and overlap mid-October, with the potential to be considered for the permanent role as the long-term needs are evaluated. This role will consist of a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm schedule and can pay up to $45/hour depending on years of experience.
About the Role:
You'll be the right hand to the CEO of a renowned nonprofit that is a cornerstone of the arts and culture scene-someone highly visible in the public eye, active at events and performances, and deeply engaged with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and sophisticated calendar management in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Maintain a hospitality-forward approach when interacting with guests, board members, donors, and community leaders
- Field after-hours or weekend communications on occasion (scheduling changes related to performances or events)
- Draft and manage professional correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Coordinate Board of Directors meetings and materials
- Manage travel arrangements, expense reconciliation, and supply orders
- Prepare meeting materials and presentation support
- Support ad hoc projects as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Grace under pressure - You're calm, composed, and unflappable in a fast-moving environment
- Diplomatic and discreet - You'll handle sensitive communications with professionalism and tact
- Multi-tasking pro - You can prioritize and pivot without losing focus on the details
- Savvy with MS Office - Especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the CEO of one of the most respected nonprofit arts organizations in the world. If you bring poise, professionalism, and a passion for supporting meaningful work in the arts, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply today for immediate consideration!
