A global manufacturing company is searching for a Payroll Analyst to manage complex payroll operations across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-state, union, and Canadian payroll processing. This role requires strict attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately process recurring payroll cycles for diverse employee groups, including union and non-union staff across multiple U.S. states and Canada.
- Review and verify payroll transactions, time data, and adjustments to ensure accurate compensation.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records in compliance with internal controls and applicable legal requirements.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure payroll accuracy and proactively resolve discrepancies.
- Stay up to date on evolving payroll legislation and ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and provincial laws.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to support seamless payroll operations.
- Support the accurate calculation and processing of garnishments, levies, and other required withholdings.
- Ensure timely execution of ACH payments, payroll funding, and tax deposits.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience processing union, multi state, and Canadian payroll
- Experience with UKGPro payroll is a plus!
- Proficiency in MS Suite applications, including Excel
- The ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to stay up to date on payroll policies and procedures
