Our client, an international association located in Gaithersburg, MD, is seeking a temporary to permanent Office and Event Coordinator to support their office and team!
About the Job:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local training, education centers, and off-site seminars.
- Manage seminar logistics, schedules, registration, materials, and vendors.
- Assist with venue, travel, and lodging coordination.
- Handle phone lines, mail and packages, office supplies, and filing systems.
- Coordinate with security and IT services.
- Run occasional errands and complete additional tasks/special projects as needed.
About You:
- 3+ years of administrative or office assistant experience are required.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills are required. QuickBooks experience highly preferred.
- Self-started with the ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment.
About the Position:
- Pays $23/hr-$26/hr, while temporary.
- $52k-$55k, when permanent.
- Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
- 100% onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
