Our client, a higher education institute located in Cambridge, is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join their team for about 6 months, with potential to extend. The hours for this onsite role are 9AM-5PM and it is compensating $30.50 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
  • Support course management, including materials prep, enrollment, and grading logistics
  • Draft, edit, and proofread communications and presentation materials
  • Plan and execute high-profile events and outreach activities
  • Maintain websites and marketing materials
  • Assist with research administration, including grant and IRB documentation
  • Handle financial transactions, procurement, and budget reconciliation
  • Serve as liaison across departments and maintain strong internal/external relationships
  • Provide backup and floor support during staff absences as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative or executive assistant experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and desktop publishing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable with high-level stakeholders and academic environments
  • Experience with SAP and Concur a plus
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends and occasional travel required
