We're looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Benefits Administrator to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a solid understanding of U.S. benefits administration, and takes pride in providing high-touch, white-glove service to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) plans.
- Partner with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate benefits processing.
- Support open enrollment processes from planning to execution, including communications, systems updates, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS systems and audit for compliance and accuracy.
- Assist with benefits onboarding and offboarding, including COBRA administration and compliance notices.
- Stay up to date on federal and state benefits regulations and support compliance reporting (e.g., ACA, ERISA).
- Contribute to benefits process improvements and employee education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience as a benefits point of contact in a U.S.-based company known for delivering white glove internal service.
- Strong understanding of core employee benefits and associated compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and empathetically with employees at all levels.
- Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
- Exposure to benefits strategy or total rewards is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
