Our client, a leading innovator in the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of automatic doors is seeking a Data Entry/Billing Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis for the next 3 (+) months. This role is compensating $21/hour and will consist of a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm schedule. The office is in Farmington, CT and will offer a hybrid working schedule.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Data Entry/ Billing Coordinator to support installation and service operations. This role is responsible for ordering materials per customer specifications, coordinating between departments, modifying sales orders, processing job billing, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The position plays a vital role in operational efficiency and supports both field and internal teams through daily collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order all necessary materials and supplies for installations and service within required timeframes
- Issue STOs/POs for material procurement
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams on material issues (Class I & II)
- Communicate material needs and issues with sales and scheduling teams
- Verify job completion in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley)
- Review and adjust Sales Orders in SAP based on actual inventory usage
- Enter door ID, warranty, and location information into SAP
- Bill completed jobs in SAP, attaching necessary documentation (e.g., photos, JCS)
- Participate in daily and weekly operational calls
- Collaborate with branches, finance, and billing teams to resolve issues
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Undergraduate degree preferred)
- Experience in a coordinator role within a construction, industrial, or service-based environment
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
