Our client, a law firm in downtown DC, is seeking a Public Policy Assistant to support their team!
The Job:
- Conduct statutory, factual, or regulatory research.
- Assist with organization of client materials and data.
- Draft, edit and cite legal documents
- Act as a liaison among other departments.
- Obtain and process court reporters, research services, filing services, and printers.
- Assist with meetings, conference setup, and provide administrative support to special office events.
About You:
- A Bachelor's degree is required for this role.
- 3+ years of professional experience (internships count!).
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Superb customer service skills and written and verbal communication skills.
About the Position:
- $25/hr-$30/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary through Labor Day.
- Potential for the assignment to be extended.
- 100% onsite in Washington, DC.
- Office is metro accessible.
