Non-Profit client is looking to hire a Temp to Perm Manager, Audience Development and Membership. This role requires someone in office Monday - Friday from 9/9:30am - 5:30/6pm. Positions starts July 2025. Temp duration is approximately three months with potential to extend/convert.
The Manager, Audience Development & Membership is a key member of the Marketing & Partnerships team responsible for driving visitor traffic, increasing event participation, and deepening member engagement. This position is critical to expanding the audience base by targeting and acquiring new visitors, enhancing the member experience and attracting new members, and building strong connections across the Paley community.
This role blends marketing, audience outreach, community cultivation, and data-driven strategy to attract new audiences-particularly in media, sports, gaming, and entertainment and tech-and convert them into long-term members and participants. As such, the position requires a passionate and proactive individual with experience in cultural institutions or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Drive daily visitation to help achieve overall visitor targets for the museum
- Increase attendance at all programs including Family Days, screenings, and gaming tournaments
- Support member engagement and attracting new members through marketing, events, and social media, in collaboration with the Development team
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the audience across all channels (on-site, digital, email, social media)
- Lead targeted outreach to recruit and retain new members, particularly from media, sports, gaming, and entertainment and tech
- Partner with internal teams (Social Media, Creative Services, Development) to create compelling member experiences and promotions
- Support audience development for invitation-only events, exhibition previews, receptions, and fundraising galas
- Support member engagement through marketing and social media, in collaboration with the Development team
- Represent as a brand ambassador across public channels and during events
- Collaborate on the development of brochures, newsletters, invitations, collateral and other communications to support membership.
- Report regularly on performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in other projects as assigned

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in audience development, marketing, or account relationship management, preferably in a nonprofit or cultural organization
- Strong understanding of the media, entertainment, sports, and/or gaming industries
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and cross-functional teams
- Strong work ethic with preference for in-person collaboration in a high-energy office environment
- Ability to work early mornings and late evening, when necessary, to support Paley events and programs
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus
PAY
- $36 - $41/hour pay rate, 80K-90K perm base DOE
