Our esteemed client in the education sector is searching for a Director of Human Resources to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with a match, PTO, and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process for employees
- Administer the payroll system, ATS, onboarding system, and compliance systems
- Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims
- Serve as the administrator for retirement plans and work with retirement consultants to provide information and education to employees
- Review HR processes and procedures regularly
- Assist in preparing budgets for annual compensation and benefits
- Serve as a member of the senior leadership team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Director
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of accounting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
