Our client, a well-known beauty brand, is seeking a Temporary Marketing Assistant/Coordinator II candidate for a 5month assignment in their Hudson Yards office. This role requires 5 days on site with a total of 40 hours a week. The assignment will start on Tuesday, 7/1 and pays up to $31.91/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Highly creative & strategic global brand developer to oversee the concepting and development of Women Ralph Lauren brands
- Responsible for project for product and campaign ideation to on-counter - inclusive of (competitive/market insights, trends analysis, launch strategy) and partnership with Markets to ensure comprehensive and on-time 360 launch.
- Oversee artwork process including reviewing and approving all mechanicals.
- Work with Ralph Lauren Agency, the license, and build partnership with key stakeholders.
- Digitally/Socially savvy marketer who can assess digital needs and develop concepts/assets in alignment with Manager. Deliver to timeline.
- Keep up to date on the latest competitive trends, and insights across platforms (social media, blog, print, tvc, OOH, POS)
- Work with cross-functional teams and Ralph Lauren fashion to brief and create integrated consumer launch plans including hero assets, POS displays, social assets, PDP copy, social activations, and more. Deliver to timeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, with at least 2-3 years of Global Marketing / DMI industry-related marketing work experience (beauty or consumer package goods)
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with team-oriented managerial skills; manages complexity with reasoning from multiple perspectives and makes decisions
- Previous development and/or launch management skills a must with examples of resiliency
- Strong appreciation for our business / affirmative sensitivity to the fragrance métier; understands beauty
- Strong appreciation for our fashion and affinity to the Ralph Lauren brand
- Proactive, ability to self-manage projects, ability to overcome obstacles independently.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills (written and oral).
- Demonstrates competencies: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Achiever, and Innovato
