Our client, an association in the medical field, is seeking a temporary Education and Events Manager to support their team in Alexandria, VA for approximately 2 months!
Responsibilities:
- Provide faculty/speaker support services and coordinate speaker presentations.
- Develop content for the eLearning program (e.g., webinar calendars, etc.); assist with managing eLearning activities in the LMS.
- Assist with logistics for all events, distribute meeting materials, and liaise with vendors.
- Support committees with developing programs based on member needs.
- Complete additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with educational meetings/events and/or adult learning programs
- A bachelor's degree in business or education is required.
- Proficient in MS Office Products; experience with iMIS or CMP credentials are a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both collaboratively/independently.
- Demonstrated ability to write well, proofread and edit, and communicate effectively/diplomatically.
Position Information:
- $28/hr-$32/hr, depending on experience, 70-80k when perm.
- Temporary for 2 months.
- 100% on-site
- Office in Alexandria, VA
- Metro accessible and free parking!
- Occasional travel and evening/weekend work
