Flagship - Workplace Operations Lead

We're working with a fast-growing, innovative biotech company in Cambridge, MA that is seeking a Workplace Operations Lead to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM onsite role, paying $30/hr, and supporting a dynamic office environment for a company affiliated with a prominent life sciences investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for staff and visitors; manage reception and office operations
• Coordinate catering, office supply inventory, and vendor relationships
• Plan and execute company-wide events and onboarding activities
• Provide backup administrative support to executive leadership
• Lead the employee engagement committee and manage special projects
• Assist with basic IT troubleshooting and hybrid meeting setup
• Maintain accurate records and support financial tracking and reporting

Candidate Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of relevant administrative or office management experience
• Background in biotech, tech, hospitality, or operations preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and hybrid work environment
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Slack
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience considered
